This is a spin-off from the Caterham mod to make racing against the AI more realistic than Billy Bumper and his mates.
It has been presented as stand alone because we have incorporated new features for the player that would conflict with the original Caterham mod.
"2025 Caterhams" is for those of us who like racing against the AI and features the driver line up from the 2025 Caterham 7 UK championship.
The AI drivers use their paint, sponsors, and driver numbers as used for the 2025 season.
NOTE - For those not familiar with GPL - The AI will not work correctly using the 60 FPS patch with any mod including this one.
To make things more interesting for the player, the "2025 Caterhams" have added new toys:
There is only one car which is the 420R from the original Caterham mod and the car used for the official Caterham 7 Championship UK.
The power, grip and handling of the 420R is unchanged from the original Caterham mod, although the AI cars have been adjusted for closer racing.

Tracks
No tracks are included but Caterham specific AI files are. You should install the listed season tracks before installing the mod.
The mod is set up to use C7season and gC7 championship ini but you can change that in GEM+ if you wish.
If you use C7season you MUST have the tracks already installed:
The tracks listed have mostly been changed by 2025 but a few retain their original layout such as Thruxton.
Installation
This update can be run in a fresh install made from the gpl demo or installed with other mods in an existing install.
There should be no conflict with the original Caterham mod or other mods although it does contain duplicates of files already shipped with the original Caterham mod.
We have tested on our own gpl installs and in a stand alone fresh installs.
Use your Caterham player from the original mod or make a new player.
Run the installer.
After installion activate "2025 Caterhams (gplC7)" with GEM+ as usual and tick your usual options and create a gplcC7.exe (NOTE - this mod uses gplcC7.exe and NOT gplcCT.exe as in the original mod).
